I’m a visual artist, content creator and educator based in ancestral and unceded M'i’kmaq territory (Nova Scotia).

I attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts as a Visual Arts major for two years, and over the years have studied painting and Japanese calligraphy under Ibata Sensei in Kyoto, Japan, and comic book illustration in Vancouver.

My illustrations have been published with Penguin India and Katha India, and I have self-published a mini-graphic novel. I have exhibited works in Japan, Canada and the USA, and have been been featured the arts and culture magazine, Stir Vancouver, and WithIntensions.

I weave elements of folk & visionary art and artisanal traditions from Asia and South America where I have lived and worked, creating art in a 'folk-psychedelic' style.

My work aims to bring the viewer into hypnotic or trancelike states, and to invite them to taste a sense of magic, dreams and more deeply connect with the preciousness of the natural world and her sentient beings.

I love to use my art for campaigns, outreach, and education to regenerate ecosystems and support global equity.  I have designed logos, posters and flyers for campaigns, events, and educational infographics. Reach out if you’d like to discuss your project’s design needs with me.

Finally, I wear another hat. I use my background in education, journalism and mediation in my work with purpose-driven people and teams looking to collaborate or build stronger relationships. Through consulting, facilitation and training, I help individuals, life partners, families, and teams successfully navigate conflict, have difficult conversations,
and improve communications. (To learn more about these services, visit the Training & Consulting tab).
